MY VALUES
From Smyrna to Harvard
King Springs Elementary, Cumberland Mall, Rhyne Park, Smyrna First UMC. I remember the small town we were and am amazed by the dynamic and diverse city we've become. I love sampling the goodies at McEntyre's Bakery, shopping for gifts at the Heart & Sole boutique and re-tracing my old school bus route to Griffin Middle on a bicycle.

I've held management roles in every sector including positions in state and local government, national nonprofits, Fortune 500 companies, and start-up's and had the chance to travel to many U.S. cities and around the world. From leading diversity recruitment at MassMutual Financial Group and serving as a Community Health Educator at Kaiser Permanente to being appointed to Governor Kemp's COVID-19 Task Force, I have never forgotten where I came from.

Now, as an entrepreneur, my small business highlights food and culture to bring folks together--to break bread and egg rolls--for team-building, networking, to explore diverse foods and to support local shops and restaurants. My award-winning sauces, based on family recipes, are the first-ever line of natural, Asian-Southern fusion cooking sauces. We are the proud winners of Flavor of Georgia--twice.
Growing up in Smyrna has been a true blessing. I'm grateful to the friends and supporters who have encouraged me to take this step, to "pay it forward" and serve the residents of my hometown.
Our city is at a crossroads.

As the only hometown candidate, I am uniquely positioned to represent and connect OLD and NEW Smyrna, preserving the small town charm that has made us special while balancing new investment opportunities-- in our people and local businesses.
As your Councilmember, I am ready turn my experiences and insights into concrete action and execution to help create a safe, healthy and vibrant future for all.
